Applicants will need to go through an audition as part of the requirements.
- Pass SPM with at least 3 credits in any subject or
- Pass Senior Unified Exam Certificate (UEC) with at least 3 grade Cs in any subject or
- Pass STPM with at least 1 grade C (NGMP 2.0) in any subject or
- Pass SKM Level 3 in the field of music and pass SPM with at least 1 credit in any subject or
- Any equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government
- Grade 4 in practical for classical track or
- Grade 3 in practical for contemporary track
- Grade 2 in theory for both classical and contemporary track
- Pass the audition / interview
